The collective Ñaa Ñanga de Tijaltepec seek to promote and value the textile art of the Mixteca region of Oaxaca through their blouses that they make and dress every day.
The documentary “Ñaa Kiku Isaa, Kiku Sa’ma” was shown to all the people from the community of San Pablo Tijaltepec including the children. It was possible thanks to the support of the bilingual elementary school Valerio Trujano. The aim of the event was to encourage the different educational institutions and teachers to continue organizing activities that allow the new generations to learn the traditional weaving with the waist loom.
